Background

Co-founded with university peers, Nexus was born out of our collective experiences and aimed to solve a widespread issue. I took charge of UI/UX design, user testing, and app development, resulting in a polished final product.

Our efforts were rewarded with multiple awards from business incubators, signifying our potential. However, our progress was halted when Apple introduced their NameDrop feature, prompting us to pause development.

App Development

Nexus underwent comprehensive user testing to inform app design, including elements like wayfinding, intuitive layout, and user-friendliness. Our testing spanned several months, progressing from guerrilla testing to refined methods like card sorting. Through multiple Figma iterations, we even rebuilt the app architecture three times to ensure optimal look and feel.
